Matthew Veling has studied the impact of leadership in organizations for almost 20 years. In both secular and non-secular environments, he has observed how leaders impact culture, and the importance of building capacity through employee development. Matthew understands that a strong leadership profit chain links passionate people to greater performance and higher profits. As an experienced leader, entrepreneur, and cultural architect, Matthew builds capacity by connecting people and purpose, cultivating strengths-based teams, and creating management systems that allow organizations to flourish.
Matthew is a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach with tools to improve employee engagement and drive growth. Employees who focus on their strengths are six times more likely to be engaged in their jobs. Gallup research shows that organizations with engaged employees report 21% higher productivity and 22% higher profitability than non-engaged work forces. Matthew help leaders leverage the power of strengths-based training in their organizations.
Matthew holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University San Marcos, and an M.Div. from Azusa Pacific University. He has completed graduate studies in Community Development at Eastern University, and is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Ministry, Urban Ministry/Community Development program at Fuller Theological Seminary.
