Your Training Instructions are Below.
Let’s get started:

Step 1:  Start by signing into the microlearning platform using your unique login credentials emailed to you by the Program Administrator. Click here to sign in, then return to this page.

Step 2: Click on the “Click Here to Start Your Module” button to the left of Module 1 below to access the 3 microlessons within the Module.
.
Step 3: Complete all 3 microlessons within Module 1 to test your knowledge and collect points along the way! Please don’t forget to watch the videos that are included in some of the microlessons.

Step 4:
After you’ve completed the 3 microlessons in Module 1, return to this page to complete Modules 2 -4.

Step 5: Notify the Program Administrator by email that you have completed all Modules so they can confirm your completion. If you’ve successfully completed all Modules, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and status of earning an Inclusion Certified™ seal for your organization!

Disability Awareness

While people with disabilities make up a signficant portion of the population, disability etiquette – the respectful communication and interaction with people with disabilites – tends to be lacking.

Learn more about people with disabilities, the importance of the language we use, and what each of us can do to counter ableism and improve inclusivity.

Everything Adds Up:
How Words and Actions Impact People With Disabilities

Humans want to be accepted for who they are, no matter how they look, experience the world, or respond to situations, but microaggressions and ableism can cause discomfort and possible harm.

Module 3:
Shaping Your Perceptions

Unconscious—or implicit—biases can be difficult to overcome because they’re, well, unconscious. Deprogramming our biases takes practice.

Module 4:
Two Models of Disability: One Way Forward

Societies have a responsibility to create inclusive communities, starting with learning about the barriers people with disabilities might face and doing your part to help reframe the conversation.
