Last week, I was invited to speak at The Ken Blanchard Companies as part of Grand Canyon Universities’ Executive Series. The presentation was called Work On Purpose: 4 Secrets to Connect Who You Are With What You Do. I opened by telling a story about a career-changing event that happened in my car while driving to work one morning. Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Greenleaf International Annual Conference in Indianapolis. The conference is based on the teachings of Robert K. Greenleaf who coined the concept of servant leadership in the 1960s. Servant leadership is about reversing the polarity of power. (more…)

I concentrate better with music playing in the background. I especially enjoy dropping in the name of a song or artist on Pandora Radio and letting it find music with interesting similarities.
